Veterinary Facility Accreditation Program The NYSVMS Veterinary Facility Accreditation Program (VFAP) standards offer members a solid and practical foundation on which to evaluate their practices. Experienced evaluators work with hospital owners to assess whether their facilities are in compliance with acceptable standards of practice, as well as state and federal laws and regulations. Member facilities are evaluated on a triennial basis. At this time, the hospitals listed below are accredited through the NYSVMS Veterinary Facility Accreditation Program.

From this small beginning, CVMA grew to its present status as one of the largest veterinary medical associations in the nation and assumed its leadership position through ambitious, innovative programs. As of 2018, the CVMA has over 7,400 members. The CVMA is a vocal advocate for California veterinary professionals , and for the health and welfare of animals.
